Brad Barton didn’t waste any time after being hired as the Beavers Head Coach. He was on the phone contacting coaches and players, both new and old. One name that that came up time and again was Beavers Forward Nathan Hans. The ’96 Almonte, Ontario native, who played 50 games last season with the Beavers was, the points leader for the majority of the season. After speaking with Hans, Barton was impressed with his level headed approach to hockey. Barton feels that Hans’ commitment to making the Beavers a successful hockey team will continue and he will work to take the Beavers to the next level.
We are proud to announce that Forward Nathan Hans will be Captain of the Blind River Beavers for the 2015 – 2016 season.
