NOJHL’s Voodoos 11th; Blind River up to 16th; Rayside-Balfour Honouarble Mention in latest CJHL Top 20 rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – A couple of weeks into things and the Penticton Vees (BCHL) remain the No. 1 slotted side in the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings.

Penticton, at an impressive 8-0, are one of eight squads across the land who have yet to taste defeat so far in their respective leagues.

Earning the No. 2 nod nationally this week is the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL), who have won seven straight outings.

Right behind them at No. 3 you have the defending national Jr. A champion Brooks Bandits (AJHL) who have begun with a 6-0 run out in Alberta.

Over in Saskatchewan, the Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) have impressed in their 12-team league coming away victorious in their initial seven contests and jumped all the way to No. 4 in the CJHL.

Sitting in the No. 5 slot you have the Braves de Valleyfield (LHJAAAQ), who also boast a 7-0 beginning to their year.

Rounding out the Top 10 are the Portage Terriers (MJHL) 6th; College Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) 7th; Red Lake Miners (SIJHL) 8th; Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL) 9th and the Burlington Cougars (OJHL) in 10th.
