April 29, 2015.
Good Day;
On behalf of the Staff and Board of Directors of the Blind River Beavers, we would like to extend our Thanks for your continued support. While no one is satisfied with the season passed, we would like to assure you that we are committed to building a Junior “A” Hockey franchise that we can all be proud of.
We have never been more determined to move this program forward and you have our commitment to work tirelessly in the off-season to that end. That work began last week with the formation of a new Board of Directors, headed by the League’s first female President, Rachelle Nyman. In the coming days, we will be putting in place a new GM and we will be conducting interviews for a new Head Coach.
In order to move forward with our plans, we would like to ask for your help. We need to sell 200 Season Tickets in order to make this season work. To that end, we have restructured our Season Tickets and eliminated the Platinum Passes. All Season Tickets are priced at $150 each and include all regular season games. We have introduced an Early Bird Special for all Season tickets sold by May 28th, which will add all play-off games to the lineup.
Your Board of Directors is working hard to keep your Junior “A” team in Blind River. Be a part of that effort; buy your Season Ticket early, offer your assistance at our various fundraising activites, buy your lunch at our food booth on Community Day and take a peek at the merchandise offered for sale there.
Please call me at 705-356-0871. I will be happy to offer whatever assistance I can. Money for your season ticket(s) can also be dropped off at my house, 116 Rousseau Crescent or I would be happy to pick up your cheque, if that is more convenient. Please be assured that all funds received for these tickets will be held in Trust until the tickets are ready to be delivered.
The entire Board of Directors is here to answer any questions you might have about the direction of the Blind River Beavers. The entire list can be found on our website,
We look forward to hearing from you,
Linda G. Makela.
