Richmond Generals Goaltender signs card with the Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL. The Beavers play in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey ( NOJHL ) which is a Tier 2 Junior A sanctioned hockey league in Canada. They compete everyyear for the right to compete in the Royal Bank Cup ( RBC ) , which is the championship at the Tier 2 level of Junior A in Canada.   Max played for the Generals Elite team this year and was selected as an USPHL Elite South All-Star Team. Max appeared in 19 regular season games posting 11 wins with 7 losses and 1 shootout loss during the season . He ranked in the top ten in the league in all 3 of these categories GAA, Save %, and Shutouts. Max posted an 2.17 GAA with a .918 Save % with 4 Shutouts. Max also appeared in 1 playoff contest recording a loss in the outing with an .833 Save %.   We are very proud of Max and his accomplishment of signing a card with the Beavers in the NOJHL. This will be a great step for him next season and we know he will compete to be one of the top goaltenders in that league. We wish Max and the Beavers much success in this upcoming season and look forward to watching them play during the season.   Max becomes the 7th player this year to commit to the next level of Junior A hockey. He joins Blake Robertson ( Bay State Breakers Premier ) , Jack Zielinski ( Whitecourt Wolverines AJHL ) , Ryan Gazich ( Whitecourt Wolverines AJHL ) , Erik Kloucek ( Milton Icehawks OJHL ), Isaiah Olschewske ( Fort Frances Lakers SIJHL ), Chad Lopez ( Wichita Falls Wildcats NAHL ). The Generals will still have a number of players deciding on next level junior offers and oppurtunities including Riley Biel ( Fwd ), Mason Corliss ( Fwd ), Daniel Kharinov ( Dman ), Garrett McGowan ( Goalie ), Mike Lopez ( Fwd ). There will be more exciting news to follow in the near future ! Congrats to all of our Generals players that are moving on !
