SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Sunday its game schedule for the upcoming West Division semifinal between the No. 1 Soo Thunderbirds and the No. 4 Blind River Beavers.
All games in this best-of-seven match-up will feature 7 p.m. start times and will see the Thunderbirds host Games 1 & 2 on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 at John Rhodes Community Centre.
The Beavers will then serve as the home team for Games 3 & 4 on Tuesday, March 19 and Friday, March 22 at the Blind River Community Centre.
If necessary, Game 5 will be held on Sunday, March 24 back at John Rhodes in Sault Ste. Marie while the Game 6 is slated for Tuesday, March 26 at Blind River.
Should the series go the distance, the Thunderbirds will stage Game 7 on Wednesday, March 27 at JRCC.
The winner will meet either the Rayside-Balfour Canadians or Soo Eagles in the NOJHL West final.
