8 additional NOJHL games for December announced

SUDBURY – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League released Monday the information for eight additional regular season games that will be on the slate for December.

They will be a pair of four-game match-ups that feature the Soo Thunderbirds meeting the Espanola Express and the Blind River Beavers going up against the Rayside-Balfour Canadians.

All of these contests have been approved by the NOJHL as well as by local and regional public health units to be played under the current COVID-19 requirements, rules and regulations.

“We at the NOJHL would like to once again thank all of our partners, including the respective public health units in northern Ontario, along with Jason Marchand and the Northern Ontario Hockey Association for their continued guidance and combined efforts in maintaining a safe and healthy platform for our member clubs as they compete during these trying times,” stated league commissioner Robert Mazzuca.
